Charging a Panasonic PV-GS31 MiniDV Camcorder Through USB?

I don’t think you’ll be able to charge a camera through usb because it does not provide enough power to charge the battery. Say usb is 5V while your camera battery is 7.5V. You could still buy a longer lasting battery or have it connected to the charger.
