If you have $250 spare dollars, go ahead, it will look better. But most people won’t notice. I would just rent or buy a calibration disk. Now this isn’t the same as having a professional do it but its pretty good for a $5 rental fee. Please read the attached link for tons more info. If you read on you would think that calibrating is the best thing in the world. I watched it done on my set and i couldn’t tell any difference afterward. If something costs $250 you should see a difference. It is cool to watch them align all the lines that look like tic-tac-toe boxes made of different colors..
