Setting up Blu Ray and Panasonic Plasma 1080p TV?

I have a Panasonic Plasma 1080p TV and Blu Ray player. Can someone help me figure out how do I set this up so that I see the best possible HD picture? Right now it seems that I am not receiving HD picture, even though I have both of these plus I rent Blu Ray movies.

get into the settings menu of your tv and make sure your tv is set to 1080p,also use hdmi cable to connect the two. some tv’s have certain ports for youre blu-ray player,make sure you’ve plugged into the correct one. there are also ways to set the player to different settings.

This involves going into menu’s and changing settings. I know some people avoid this, but Panasonic has the best customer care around. Call them at (800)211-7262. They answer their phones pretty quickly and will be able to help you set this up to it’s full potential. Plus, if you get lost, you will have someone there to help you out.
