suggestions on a panasonic digital camcorder?

The picture/video quality would depend on which model/price level/features etc…
You can look up reviews for some of the Panasonic models for the particular model and you’re interested in.

I had my company buy the Panasonic pvgs320 which is a 3CCD mini-dv camcorder and it takes excellent videos and has gotten excellent reviews all over the internet. They’re on sale now at Circuit City for $380. Maybe even cheaper on ebay.

DO NOT BUY A DVD-based camcorder.
