There are only user-replaceable lamps in rear projection LCD and DLP TV’s. As for LCD and plasma flat panel TVs, you can’t replace the lamp. You pretty much have to buy a new TV, if the TV goes out.
If the set is a RPTV, the lamp is located behind the front trim panel, on the left side just off center of the set. This doubles as the cover for the lamp area. Just pull on the plastic on the front of the set. You should not need to apply excessive force, the panel will come off, then you can unscrew the lamp cover, then unscrew the lamp and remove it. This is how all the Panasonic sets I have worked with so far have been done. RPTV (Rear Projection TV). Flat panel sets do not have a lamp. You did not specify, so i am just telling general info at this point. Your owner’s manual should have instructions on how to change the lamp, as well.
